November's Aging Well Award winner is all about bringing smiles to families in St. Joseph. After a number of years of owning his own sheet metal business, it only took a few weeks of retirement for Rick Gilmore to decide he wasn't ready to just sit and read the newspaper. Inspired by his own childhood, Rick decided to get in the business of having fun.
After starting Joe Town Mini-Golf, he revamped Cool-Crest and is now building up his latest family amusement business called Ricky Dean's, and he's showing no signs of slowing down. Rick loves sitting on the patio sipping on a root beer float listening to the families having fun and sharing new memories. Rick plans to keep the smiles coming with plans to expand the ways families can spend time having some good old-fashioned fun!
