Honoring Care That Feels Like Family — National Home Health and Hospice Month

Freudenthal Caregiving caring for patient

Every November, organizations across the country take time to recognize the extraordinary professionals who make Home Health and Hospice care possible. At Freudenthal, this month holds special meaning because we see—every day—the impact these services have on seniors and families throughout our community.

Home Health: Helping Seniors Heal, Strengthen, and Stay Independent

Home Health care is often the bridge that helps individuals recover after a surgery, illness, or hospital stay. With skilled nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, and more brought directly into the home, seniors receive the support they need in the place they feel most comfortable.

At Freudenthal, our Home Health team walks beside each patient with one goal: to help seniors stay healthy, happy, and at home.

Whether it’s managing medications, improving mobility, preventing falls, or supporting chronic conditions, our clinicians bring not just clinical excellence—but compassion, encouragement, and hope.

Hospice: Comfort, Dignity, and Peace When Families Need It Most

Hospice isn’t about giving up—it’s about ensuring that life’s final chapter is marked by comfort, dignity, and connection. Our hospice team provides pain and symptom management, emotional and spiritual support, and ongoing care for families navigating loss.

This work is tender, sacred, and deeply personal. Families often tell us that the presence of our hospice nurses, aides, social workers, and chaplains brought comfort they didn’t know was possible during such difficult moments.

We are honored to walk this journey with them.

Celebrating the Freudenthal Home Health and Hospice Care Teams

This month, we proudly recognize:

  • Our nurses, whose clinical expertise and gentle compassion support healing and comfort.

  • Our therapists, who help seniors regain strength and independence.

  • Our hospice caregivers, who provide comfort, presence, and dignity at end of life.

  • Our social workers, chaplains, and volunteers, who care for the whole person—emotionally, spiritually, and relationally.

  • Our office and support staff, who make sure every detail is handled and every family receives the help they need.

Your work changes lives. Your compassion brings peace. Your dedication strengthens our community.
