Curt's journey toward becoming a pillar of community service began as a little league baseball coach. Over the years, his passion for helping others only grew. His favorite form of volunteer work became delivering Meals on Wheels, a gesture that not only nourishes the bodies of those in need but also warms their hearts with compassion.

His involvement as an active deacon at Faith United Baptist Church showcases his dedication to spiritual guidance and support. For over two decades, he has been a huge supporter of the Southside Fall Festival, serving as the master of ceremonies for a number of years.

His contributions extend even further as a key member of the Southside Progressive Association, where he serves as the Public Works Director. He also has extended his generosity by playing Santa Claus at the annual Hyde Park lighting ceremony, spreading cheer and goodwill to everyone.

Moreover, Curt never shies away from supporting his family, always being available to aid his children and grandchildren. His commitment to both family and community truly highlights his selflessness and love for people.
