Summer fun is here—and it’s not just for the kids!
The sunshine season brings a burst of energy, color, and opportunity for everyone—including older adults. With a little creativity and care, seniors can enjoy a vibrant, safe, and meaningful summer filled with fun, fellowship, and fresh air.
This summer, older adults across St. Joseph and surrounding areas can enjoy engaging activities—from arts classes and fitness to social meals and live entertainment. They’ll stay active, connected, and energized all season long!
Here are some senior-friendly summer activities that bring smiles, movement, and memory-making moments:
Freudenthal Fit Club Classes
Mondays (1–2 PM) — Fit Club with Kelly (seated strength & balance) @ Joyce Raye Patterson, $2/class
Wednesdays (9 AM) — Walk & Learn FREE walking group @ East Hills Shopping Center
Fridays (11:15 AM) — Chair Zumba FREE, lively seated Zumba led by Betty Stacey
